Inglewood is a suburb located just west of downtown Los Angeles that is home to a number of attractions, shops and services that cater to visitors. The Hollywood Park Racetrack and adjoining Casino are popular draws among those wishing to try their luck with either the horses, the cards or the slots. Inglewood is conveniently located to the Los Angeles International Airport and has contributed to the growth of local businesses related to the airline industry. Its proximity to the ocean also makes it a popular sunshine destination, and four major freeways run through the city, offering easy access to the region. The L.A. Forum, the former home of the Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Kings, is also located in Inglewood, and still serves as a community center and concert venue.
